PREMIUM Membership – $50/Year

2. Select Golf Courses

Choose from 17,000+ golf courses with over 70,000+ tees. Our data is regularly updated from US Golf Data, providing:

* Tee and yardage details
* Statistics and scorecard information
* Comprehensive course details, including:
   * Course Name, City, State, Street Address, Zip Code, County
   * Phone, Fax, Website URL
   * Course Designer (Architect), Year Built
   * Course Status (Public, Private, Municipal, etc.)
   * Guest Policy, Email Address, Course Manager, and more

3. Manage Accommodations

• Collaboration with the Agent: The coordinator works with an agent to identify the available accommodations for the outing, ensuring they align with the group’s needs.
• Recording Accommodation Details: Once accommodations are confirmed, the coordinator can enter and store details of each option in the system. This could include types of lodging, pricing, amenities, and availability.
• Assigning Accommodations: The coordinator can then assign specific accommodations to each participant. For example, some members might prefer a larger condo for a group of 4-6 people, while others might choose a smaller, more economical hotel room for just two people.
• Room Assignments: In addition to general accommodation assignments, the coordinator can specify which room each individual will stay in, making the experience more personalized and organized.

4. Manage Outing Members

Once all outing details have been recorded, the coordinator (a PREMIUM Member) will:
   * Create a Group (if not already created).
   * Invite Non-OGO Members: Send emails requesting them to join the site as REGULAR members.
   * Notify Current OGO Members: Ask them to send a request to be added under the coordinator's management.
   * Assign Members to Groups: Add approved members to the designated outing group(s).
   * Request Members to Join the Outing: Send emails prompting OGO members to log in and submit a request to join.
   * Track Payments & Balances: Use the site to monitor members' outing payments and outstanding balances.
   * Enable Public Outing Discovery: Members can browse public outings and send join requests to the designated coordinator.

5. Create and Manage Golf Outings

Premium Member Responsibilities (Outing Coordinator)
1. Arrange Golf Outing:
The Premium member, acting as the coordinator, can arrange outings through various agents. These agents can be found via web searches, magazines, TV ads, or any other promotional source.
2. Agent & Outing Details:
Once the agent is contacted, the Premium member will record the outing detail on the System
   • Agent Information: Who the agent is (contact info, company, etc.
   • Outing Cost: The total cost for the outing, including any services provided
   • Location of Outing: Where the event will take place (city, state, etc.)
   • Accommodations: Any lodging provided during the outing
   • Dates of the Outing: When the event will occur
   • Rounds Played: Number of rounds of golf played during the outing
   • Public or Private Outing: Whether the outing will be public or private outings
   • Local or Remote: Whether the outing is local to the area or in a remote location
   • Courses Included: A list of golf courses included in the outing
Regular Member Responsibilities Regular members can only view outing information and enter their single-round golf scores into the system. The system will then calculate their USGA Handicap based on the scores entered, allowing them to track their golfing performance over time.

6. Manage Tournaments

Key Responsibilities of a Coordinator:
1. Maintain Tournaments:
   * A Coordinator (who is a PREMIUM MEMBER) is responsible for creating and managing tournaments.
   * They can add multiple tournaments and assign rounds to each one, based on available courses for the outing.
2. Create Tournament Rounds:
   * The coordinator can define rounds for each tournament, taking into account the courses available for the event.
3. Tee Time Creation:
   * The coordinator has the option to enter tee times manually or use the system to generate them automatically.
   * Tee times can be assigned for regular starts or shotgun starts (where all groups start at the same time, but at different holes).
4. Assign Participants to Tee Times:
   * After tee times are created, the coordinator assigns the participants or teams to the corresponding tee times.
5. Assign Trophy Points:
   * The coordinator can allocate points for various achievements such as:
   * Closest to the pin on par 3 holes, Longest drive, Top 3 winning teams and Top 3 individual winners

7. View Standings and Other Statistics

1. View Outings: Members can access detailed information about their own outings (completed, planned, or in-progress), as well as public outings organized by others.
2. Track Performance: Members can view their round scorecards, track points won for each round, tournament, outing, or group. This could be useful for monitoring improvements and seeing how you rank among peers.
3. Compare with Others: You'll be able to compare your performance, including scores and handicaps, against other members, giving you a benchmark for how you're doing relative to others.
4. Course and Hole Stats: You can also check out course and hole statistics to identify which holes or par types you might need to focus on improving. This could include identifying trends in your performance across various holes and types of par.
